RoamVerdict is an independent publisher of travel-utility guides covering travel eSIMs and EU flight compensation. Our goal is simple: help you sort out the practical side of a trip without wading through hype or outdated advice.
What we cover
We focus on two things travelers keep getting wrong or overpaying for: staying connected abroad, and getting the money they are owed when a flight goes wrong. On the connectivity side we compare travel eSIMs country by country, with live prices and the networks each plan actually uses. On the passenger-rights side we explain EU261 and UK261 in plain terms, per airline and per situation (delay, cancellation, denied boarding), and when it is worth claiming.

We publish collectively as a brand rather than under an individual name on purpose: the guides stand on their sources and method, which are disclosed on every page. Our editorial standards
- Every price, coverage claim and rule is verified against a primary source and dated before it goes live.
- Competitors are reviewed honestly, with real pros and cons; we flag when a rival is genuinely cheaper or better.
- Other companies' ratings are shown attributed to their source (for example Trustpilot), never restated as our own.
- Network speeds are never guaranteed; they depend on the local carrier.
- Affiliate commissions never influence a ranking or a verdict.
How we stay honest
We explain how each guide was put together (see how we evaluate), date every coverage claim, price and rule, note limitations, and disclose affiliate relationships (disclosure). Commissions never decide our picks, and we never guarantee network speeds, which depend on local carriers. Flight compensation guidance is general information, not legal advice.
How this site is funded
RoamVerdict is funded by affiliate commissions through the MaxBounty network. When we recommend a service we can be paid by, the link is marked as sponsored and routed through a clearly labelled redirect, and the full list of advertisers who can pay us is published on the disclosure page, generated from the same data that builds those links. We also review providers who pay us nothing at all, and several of our pages conclude that a competitor we earn nothing from is the better choice for a given trip. That is the point: the verdict comes first, the routing second.
What we will not do
- We do not guarantee network speeds, anywhere. Speed depends on the local carrier, your device and where you stand.
- We do not publish star ratings of our own. We have no rating population, so inventing one would be a lie in markup.
- We do not hide a competitor's advantage. If a rival is cheaper for your trip, the page says so.
- We do not leave stale prices standing knowingly: dated claims are re-checked on a schedule, and the date is printed next to the claim.
Corrections
If a price has drifted, a rule has changed, or something reads wrong, we want to fix it. Send us the page and the detail and we will re-check it against the source and update it. Contact us.
